The Chinese electronics giant Lenovo launched the world’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 855 chipset, soon after Qualcomm took it’s covers off the Snapdragon 855 in the Snapdragon summit held in Hawaii from 4th to 6th December.
The Lenovo Z5 Pro GT presents itself to the world as the first smartphone with a 12GB RAM. The phone provides a wide range of sensors, such as an ambient light sensor, hall sensor, electronic compass, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the basic features of the phone, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is a slider phone with a 6.39 inch display with 95.06 percent body to screen ratio. It runs on android 9 Pie, powered by a 3350 mAh battery. The phone has a dual rear camera (24MP + 16 MP) and has a dual selfie camera as well (16MP + 8MP). The phone is available in one colour option- Carbon Black.
The phone is available with three RAM options- 6GB, 8GB and 12GB along with three storage options- 128GB, 256GB and 512GB, explaining the absence of a memory card slot.
The variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for 3,398 CNY. and the variant with 12GB RAM and 512 GB storage is available for 4,398 CNY. The phone is scheduled to be launched on the 24th of January, 2019 and is for sure one of the most awaited smartphones because of it’s high end storage options. Let us know if you agree!
