Samsung extends Linux on DeX to its latest devices.

The Linux on DeX (Desktop eXperience) is an initiative by Samsung that made Android devices as portable PC. The app is still available in beta.

The Dex allowed the Galaxy users to experience desktop in their Android devices. First, it only supported Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and Tab S4. Now the Korean company has planned to extend support of Linux on Dex to Galaxy S9, Galaxy S10, and Tab5e. Samsung aims at extending support to all its latest smartphones.

The Dex requires a minimum of 4GB RAM for smooth functioning. Thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon processors for a cool Ubuntu experience on Androids. XDA developers have reported that the Linux on Dex runs well on Galaxy Note 9 and even better on S10 series. There is also news that the next update would concentrate on wireless modes.
