Meitu launched it’s latest flagship smartphone, Meitu V7, at an event held in China. Alongside, the company also launched a limited version of the phone, the V7 Tonino Lamborghini version.
While the limited version of the phone will be available for pre-booking starting December 24th, both of the versions will be rolled out in the Chinese market on the 8th of January.
Coming to the specifications, the phone has a 6.21 inch notch-less screen and AMOLED display. It has a dual rear camera of 12 MP + 8MP with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). The phone has an astounding triple selfie camera with a 12MP Night Shot camera+ 20MP Ultra Wide Angle lens and an 8 MP Depth Sensor. Powered by the AI sensor, the phone allows the user to capture brilliant shots even in dim light.
The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 chipset along with an 8 GB RAM. It operates under the Android 9 Pie OS and has a home button enabled fingerprint sensor to unlock the device. The phone is supported by a 3,500 mAh battery.
The Tonino Lamborghini version of the phone has a high-quality calfskin leather back with 18k gold plated rivets and V-shaped studs along with the Lamborghini logo embossed on the exquisite leather.
The colours in which it is available are Cabernet Orange and Green Dream but the special edition, that also has a cover provided, matching the phone design, made out of the same leather material, offers a highly luxurious experience.
The phone retails at RMB 4,799 (Rs 48,700 approx) for the standard variant and the Lamborghini edition retails at RMB 8,888 (Rs 90,200 approx).
