Nokia to launch the X71 with 48MP sensor and triple camera setup

HMD Global, which owns Nokia, had announced on Monday that it will launch the Nokia X71 next month. The smartphone will be unveiled in Taiwan on April 2nd, 2019. The phone is said to target the premium midrange section.

Talking of the optics on the smartphone, then it will be possessing a 48MP ZEISS primary sensor on the back. On the whole, it will be a triple camera setup on the rear. Although, the global variant of the phone will only come with a dual lens setup.

According to strong speculations the Nokia X71 will be announced as Nokia 8.1 Plus. It may arrive with a 6.22-inch FHD+ ‘Punch Hole’ display. The processor on the phone may be Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 712 chipset.

Along with the X71 or the 8.1 Plus, the company is also planning to launch its flagship model Nokia 9 PureView, at the same event.

The price range of the X71 may be around 25k-30k.
