Realme 3 launched in India with Helio P70

Finally, the wait is over and the curtain has been lifted off the new Realme phone. The Realme 3 has just been launched in India, basically targeting the budget range. The device is powered by Mediatek’s Helio P70 chip. It’s a powerful and efficient processor for high performance.

The Realme 3 has a 6.2-inch HD+ display, having a resolution of 1520x720p. Along with the Helio P70, the duration of performance is being taken care of by a large 4,230mAh battery. The phone comes in two variants. One is a 3GB/32GB model and the other one is a 4GB/64GB model.

Optics on the phone include a dual-rear camera setup of 13MP (f/1.8) +2MP lenses. Main camera features involve Chroma boost, Nightscape mode (for low light), and other AI features too. On the front, there is a 13MP lens (f/2.0) for taking selfies and also portrait shots too.

The Android platform is of the latest Android 9 Pie operating system. But this phone has also got the new version of the skinned UI by Oppo (Realme’s parent company), the ColorOS. The new ColorOS 6.0 has some great features like app drawer, riding mode, and also the support for Camera2API too (for using Google Camera). The biggest news for developers and users is that the Realme 3 has got its bootloader unlocked as well!

The phone will be available for sale via Flipkart from March 12, 2019. The 3GB/32GB model will be priced at Rs. 8,999 while the 4GB/64GB model will be available for Rs.10,999.
