Samsung Galaxy Fold-unfolded

Samsung literally un-folded it’s event by announcing Galaxy Fold. It ships with two screens.  A standard 4.6′ display on front and a  7.3′ Infinity Flex Display on the inside.

The displays used are Dynamic AMOLED on the Infinity Flex Display and the Super AMOLED Display on the front screen.

What’s interesting is that the fold is seamless and the content from the 4.6′ display will directly mirror on the un-folded display 7.3′ display. A complex mechanical hinge supports the flexibility.

The resolutions of the screens are 840 x 1960 when folded and 1536 x 2152 when un-folded.

The Unfold turns it into a tablet sized device with multitasking features which allow you to use upto 3 apps at once.

The device will ship with 7nm octacore processor and upto 12GB  of RAM. Coming to storage, the device upto 512GB of UFS 3.0 for super fast speeds. Talking about cameras, the phone ships with not 1 or 2 but, 6 cameras.

Yes! 6 cameras. Three on the rear, 1 on the front and 2 above the infinity flex display. The security here is not compromised, the devices comes with a finger-print scanner embedded in the power button. The device is available in 4 colors. The device ships with 4380mAh battery.

Speaking of pricing, the device will be starting at $1980/- and will start shipping from April 26th 2019.
