The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with S Pen was released quietly by the South Korean giant recently. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (2019) had been released only a few weeks ago. Now, the company is back with another 8 inch compact model which also has the S Pen.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 with S Pen has an 8 inch LCD screen. It has the same resolution as Galaxy 10.1, which is 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The S Pen has a slot in the tablet itself where it fits.

Under the hood of the Tab A 8.0 is the Exynos 7904 chipset, same as the one used in the larger model. The Tab packs a 3 GB RAM along with 32 GB storage out of which 22 GB is available for users. The memory is expandable upto 512 GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy Tab 8.0 packs a poweful 4,200mAh battery. It is said to keep up with up to 11 hours of web browsing. If one has the LTE-enabled model, one can get up to 11 hours of Internet usage as well. The tablet weighs 325g and measures 8.9mm thick.

The camera, however, is not that special. The Tab has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The connectivity options offered by the Tab are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 LE for wireless and  along with LTE that is optional in the models. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB 2.0 port.

Since the revealtion of this Tab was a quiet affair, nothing is known about the pricing of this model. The tab is supposed to be available in the UK (at Carphone Warehouse), New Zealand, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Vietnam as well.
