Small Text

Ever felt the need for pasting text in small font where it is not actually supported? Be it online gaming platforms or other websites, we all have come across an occasion where the need for getting either large or small size texts has dawned upon us.Behold, Small Text Generators are here to the rescue!

Small Text Generators serve the exact same purpose. As clearly mentioned on LingoJam’s website, “Simple online tool generates small text from your regular sized text. You can copy and paste the small letters most places that you can paste normal text. How does it work? Well, it all starts with our little friend, Unicode.”

Unicode is an international character set that has over 120,000 symbols and a wide variety of browsers support it. The small text that is generated by these tools isn’t actually a smaller font. It’s rather an unicode symbol which itself is small.

To do this, you need to enter your text and you’ll have the text output in three formats: Small Caps, SuperScript and Subscript. You will also notice that some text does not convert properly. That is mainly because the unicode symbol for that particular text is absent.

We tried the tool and take a look at this:

Input Text: Lorem ipsum

Small Caps: Lᴏʀᴇᴍ ɪᴘsᴜᴍ

SuperScript: ᴸᵒʳᵉᵐ ᶦᵖˢᵘᵐ

SubScript: ₗₒᵣₑₘ ᵢₚₛᵤₘ

As you can clearly see, the Subscript has a lot of inconsistencies and that is what we should know before we start using this tool. Also, here is the full set for these alphabets:

ᴀʙᴄᴅᴇғɢʜɪᴊᴋʟᴍɴᴏᴘǫʀsᴛᴜᴠᴡxʏᴢ

ᵃᵇᶜᵈᵉᶠᵍʰᶦʲᵏˡᵐⁿᵒᵖᑫʳˢᵗᵘᵛʷˣʸᶻ

ₐbcdₑfgₕᵢⱼₖₗₘₙₒₚqᵣₛₜᵤᵥwₓyz

These weird alphabets that can be copy and pasted into Facebook/Tumblr/Twitter/etc. posts and profiles. Moreover, these small text alphabets are just a few of the alphabetical symbol sets contained in Unicode.

It’s a neat and fun trick to show off to your friends. What are you waiting for? Go get started! You can also checkout smalltext.io !
