Xiaomi has just launched the new a note 7 in China with a whooping 48MP camera. It is a more powerful and classy device as compared to the previous Note models.
It has a 6.3 inches full HD+ LTPS display with a screen resolution of 1020*2340 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by the 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 660 Octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes in three RAM variants, 3 GB, 4 GB and the 6 GB and is available in two storage options, 32 GB and 64 GB, which can further be expanded to upto 256 GB via MicroSD. It is backed by a 4000mAh battery which supports fast charging.
The main highlight however, is the camera. On the rear, it has a 48MP f1.8 aperture primary camera and a 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 13MP camera and also has the face unlock system.
The downside of this smartphone is that it still runs on the MIUI 9. But considering that many Xiaomi phones are getting an upgrade to MIUI 10, we expect the Note 7 to get the upgrade too.
It has been launched at a fair price of 999 yuan which is roughly Rs.10,500. The top end model, i.e. 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, is priced at 1399 yuan which equals to Rs.14,500 approx. The smartphone hasn’t been released in India as yet but we expect the phone to be here soon as India is an important market for the company.
