The chinese giant, Xiaomi, is finding new ways to conquer markets. It announced the release of it’s budget smartphone, the Note 7 set to be launched after the Spring Festival. The phone is supposed to be priced at 999 CNY (Rs 10,500 approx).
Along with that, Redmi, the sub-brand of Xiaomi, has also announced a smartphone that will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset. Unlike the Note 7, this will not be a budget smartphone.
Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Jun left a comment on his Weibo handle that said that a brand new Redmi device powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor is in the making. It will be flagship device by the smartphone company.
A report by GizChina has estimated the flagship smartphone to be priced at around CNY 2,500 which translates to approximately Rs. 26,000.
With the company reaching new heights, this smartphone is definitely going to roll in more profits for the brand.
