The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is now available in Europe! The phone was first launched in China on the 18th of March. The phone will be available all over Europe, wherever Xiaomi officially sells its products.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is an exclusive gaming phone. It has a 6.39 inches display. The screen resolution is 1080 x 2340 pixels. The phone runs on Android v9.0 (Pie) operating system along with Snapdragon 805 SoC as well.
The rear camera of this handset is a 48 MP + 12 MP camera. The sensors include the general Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope and a fingerprint sensor as well. For graphical performances to make games run smoothly, this phone is supported on an Adreno 640 GPU. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 packs the only direct touch liquid cooling system in the work. Also, the phone’s display counts as the world’s lowest latency touch.
The device is packed with Octa core (2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 485 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 485 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core and Kryo 485) processor paired with 6 GB of RAM. The phone runs on a 4000 mAh battery.
Even if the gaming features are not taken into account, the phone still remains to be a smartphone that can give tough competition to the other brands in the market.
Though it will be available in other international markets soon, the availability, as of now, is doubtful.
The Black Shark 2 variant with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory will be retailing for for €549. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, on the other hand, will cost €649. For customers in the UK, the smartphone will be retailing for £479 and £559.
