An Asus Zenfone Z6 sample recently passes through the FCC and the phone will be launched soon in May 16. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 powered phone could be a successor to Zenfone Z5 which came with Snapdragon 845 last year. This choice of chipset affirms it to be a flagship device.The device comprises of 18W fast charging support.
Besides the processor, the FCC listing even reveals other features like triple camera setup along with rectangular finger print sensor. The phone will have a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor as its primary camera. The smartphone is available in options of 6GB and 8GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. The 6.4″ display smartphone runs on Android v9.0(Pie) operating system.
The company is expected to launch the phone at a very aggressive price. The leaked image shows that the smartphone has a glass back body with gradient color finish.
Furthermore, rumours hint that this could be ASUS’s first phone with 5G connectivity but the speculation may or may not be true.
