Vivo decided to announce and launch yet another high-end smartphone. iQOO, which awkwardly stands for “I Quest On and On.” Naturally, its first namesake smartphone is also quite the powerhouse.
iQOO is the sub-brand of gaming phones. The smartphone is powered with a whole new level of octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and which includes support for 44W fast charging. Also worth mentioning is that the new vapor cooling system has been installed inside the iQOO phones, which is a must-have feature on gaming smartphones these days.
However, we now have more specs to talk about. The Vivo iQoo smartphone will also feature a whopping 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
In addition, All these models feature a 3D glass body on the back decorated by an LED strip running partially down the middle, along with blue or orange reflective light trails surrounding the strip — as inspired by sports cars, apparently.
And also, To help gamers, the iQOO comes with left and right pressure-sensitive “Monster Touch” shoulder buttons on the mid-frame. The main specs are pretty much the same across the iQOO family, namely a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a dewdrop notch, in-display fingerprint reader, triple rear camera and a 12MP selfie camera inside the waterdrop notch on the display. The 12MP primary camera, coupled with a 13MP ultra wide-angle and 2MP depth sensor.
It is not yet clear if Vivo will bring iQoo branded smartphones to markets outside of China. But, according to Engadget reports that Vivo plans to launch the iQOO phones in other parts of the world as well, although the release date is not announced.
