Intel, the most famous chipmaking giant out there, has come up with an idea of a flexible phone. The company revealed it’s plan to develop a three panel phone that could stretch out into a tablet.
Samsung is ready to put out it’s Galaxy F foldable phone on shelves by April, reportedly. Alongside, Huawei and Xiaomi have also come up with similar ideas of flexible phones, as it looks like the next big thing in the world of smartphones. Intel perhaps is the largest company on board with this plan and to get a patent issued.
The device is meant to stretch a single screen into three panels that are capable of folding into each other. In a completly folded state, the device functions as a full screen smartphone. When one panel is unfolded, it functions as a laptop with a touch keyboard. When all three panels are opened, it functions as a tablet. It also has a stylus that could be placed between the folds of the display, probably with the help of magnetic aperture.
It’ll be interesting to see how this flexible phone turns out to be and if it is going to be the best of the lot.
