Honor, the sub-brand of the Chinese tech giant Huawei, has launched it’s latest offering. Meaning, the Honor 8A Pro is now official and has been launched in Russia.
Here is everything, we know about the device.
Speaking of hardware, the phone will feature a 6.09′ IPS HD+ Panel. The aspect ratio of the display is 19.5:9. Meaning, the screen will be a bit taller and the resolution will be 720×1560 instead of 720×1440. The 8A Pro does feature a water-drop notch. Meaning, the bezels on top will be slim. But, the chin still has the Honor branding.
Moving on, the device supports the Helio P35 SoC coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Adding on top, the device comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB of Storage. The 8A Pro supports dual nano sims cards and comes with dedicated MicroSD slot to expand storage.
Moving to the cameras, the 8A Pro has a 13MP Single-rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a standard LED flash. The front-facing camera is an 8MP shooter. The sensors used on the rear and the front cameras are CMOS BSI sensors. The developer information of the sensors is unknown.
The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, and a micro-USB 2.0 port for charging.
Speaking of the charge, the 8A Pro has a 3020 mAh Li-Poly ion battery. There is no mention of fast charging of any sort.
It comes in two color options, Black and Blue. And, in Russia, it’s priced at around RUB13,300/- which roughly converts to ₹14,700/- or $218/-. There is no information about its availability in the international market.
Moving on to the software, the 8A Pro ships with Android 9.0 flavored with EMUI skin.
