As the date nears for the launch of Huawei’s new P-series phones on March 26 the speculations for the details are also building up. The new models will be the P30 and P30 Pro. While the former is supposed to come with a triple camera setup, the latter will have a quad camera on the rear. But just recently, the Vice President of the company has revealed that the Pro version will also sport a Periscope-style telephoto camera.
This camera setup will focus on the ‘10x lossless zoom technology’, using the periscope design. Huawei will also be the first one to come up with this technology, before OPPO. OPPO had previously showcased it during this year’s MWC.
Apart from the ‘lossless zoom’, the P30 Pro may also have the low-light software features. It will just be like the NightSight mode on Google’s Pixel. And Huawei is claiming it to be a lot better than the Pixel’s NighSight brilliance.
Talking about the specs then the P30 Pro is supposed to have a 6.5-inch display. It will be powered by the company’s flagship chip, the 7nm Kirin 980 octa-core processor. It will also be running the latest Android 9 Pie operating system.
