LG announced a it’s new smartphone, the Q9 to add to their mid range Q series smartphones. It the successor of the Q8, with some cool new features and a higher price tag.
The smartphone has a 6.1 inches display with 19.5:9 ratio and 1440*3120 pixels. It supports dual sim and is IP68 water/dust resistant. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, the same as its predecessor uses. It also has the Adreno 530 GPU and although we would have liked the new Android Pie, it runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo. It has a single 16MP, f2.2 camera on the rear and a 8MP, f1.9 camera on the front. It also has a fingerprint sensor and is located on the rear. It comes with a 3000 mAh battery and supports fast charging.
All in all, it is a good device and is expected to be priced at around EUD 400(Rs.32,000 approx) which is pretty pricey for a phone using the same old software and hardware and that can cause LG to lose some customers. It is expected to be released in June of this year. Stay tuned for more news regarding all the tech happenings and gadget information.
