LG launched its latest in the line of military-grade durable smartphones, the X4. This model is an improvement over the K12+ launched in 2018. It is MIL-STD-810G compliant which means that it can withstand high temperatures, pressure, drops and much more.
It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. X4 sports a 5.7-inch 18:9 HD+ screen (1440 x 720). Under the hood, there is a Mediatek Helio P22 octa-core SOC coupled with 2GB of RAM alongside 32GB of expandable internal storage.
In the Camera department, there is a 16 MP camera on the back with an 8 MP sensor on the front. It also sports a front-facing flash for your selfies in the dark. Powering this tank is a 3000 mAh battery with an Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC. It also supports DTS:X 3D surround sound.
The new X4 will available in two colours, namely black and grey. The pricing will be around Rs. 18,000 and will launch in South Korea.
This phone is not much impressive on the spec sheet and the specifications do not justify the price of this device. They all seem much very much outdated. However, since this is a military grade smartphone, the cost might be justified afterall.
