Pocophone F1, another Xiaomi subbrand, is set to roll out it’s new update, MIUI 10.2.2.0. The Poco F1 update has been released within some months of the release of the smartphone.
The update is supposed to bring home the 960 fps video recording. It’ll stand beside the 120 fps and 240 fps slow motion recording feature that the phone already possessed. The resolution of the 960 fps recording feature is still unknown. Only a few phones possess this feature, Poco F1 probably being the least expensive one of the lot.
Pocophone’s global head, Alvin Tse, mentioned the inclusion of “a bunch of fixes.” in the update. He mentioned that an update due in February will fix the touch problems that some users reported. The February update will also see a fix in the battery drain problem in Poco F1. The smartphone will also see support for 4K video recording at 60 fps.
The new Poco F1 update also includes an enhanced low-light mode ad has also bumped the security patch level up to December 1, 2018.
With the new update coming up in February, the smartphone will hopefully show an enhanced performance.
