Samsung will launch its latest flagship Galaxy S10’s 5G variant in South Korea this week. The event will take place on April 5th, 2019, announced the company in a recent press release. With this, the tech giant will become the first ever manufacturer to officially release a 5G-enabled smartphone.
In the release, Samsung’s DJ Koh (President and CEO, Samsung Electronics) said, “We are at the beginning of a new era where the incredible speed and connectivity of 5G becomes a reality, bringing the world closer to Samsung’s vision of connected living”.
He also added that the company is proud of the work it has accomplished, for bringing its first 5G smartphone. And that they are looking forward to bringing it everyone around the world later this year.
In its domestic market, the S10 5G variant will be available for about 1.39 million South Korean won. It translates to around Rs.84,400.
All three models, namely the S10, S10 Plus, and S10e will be launched, being enabled with 5G.
