The Samsung Galaxy A8s is finally out and is set to hit the Indian market soon. It is roughly estimated to cost at around INR 30,400(VND 10,990, 482$) for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant, while the company is yet to announce the price of the 8GB RAM variant. It is already available for pre orders in the company’s official store at China.
It comes with the company’s first Infinity-O Display, i.e. The device has a display hole to accommodate the front camera. It also has the triple rear camera setup. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo. It also has a 6.2 inch(1080*2340P) full HD+ display. It is powered by an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, along with Adreno 616 GPU, making it a great performance focused phone.
The rear camera setup has a 24MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture, a 10MP telephoto sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and a 5MP depth sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The front camera has a whooping 24MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The battery too is commendable and it has a 3,400mAh battery that supports fast charging as expected.
Although many critics are sceptic about the design, Samsung has done a great job with it’s futuristic designs. All in all, the phone is great with many exclusive features and is priced very well. Kudos to Samsung for making yet another rather affordable hi-tech phone.
