A prototype of the all new Vivo Nex 5G was showcased during a Xinhua News Agency conference. The phone packs the Snapdragon 855 chipset and it also includes the X50 LTE modem which enables 5G connectivity.
Vivo had earlier annnounced that it had completed the development of the 5G device which is all set to become the successor of the Vivo Nex, which is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset.
The company had showcased the same 5G prototype during the recently held, China Mobile Global Conference 2018, along with many other companies such as Oppo and Xiaomi. The company is now aiming to launch the phone commercially in 2019.
